Candle Burning Instructions
When burning your candle the first
time, make sure you burn it long enough so the wax pool melts all the
way across the container. This may take up to 3-4 hours to achieve. After your double wick candle has
completely cooled and wax has hardened, replace the domed metal lid to
keep your candle free from dust and foreign matter.
Candle Safety
* Keep candle out of reach of children and pets.
*
Keep wick trimmed to 1/8" AT ALL TIMES. If you see that the wick is
getting long after burning for an hour or so, blow it out...trim
it and relight it!
*
If jar becomes blackened while burning, extinguish candle and wipe
container with a dry paper towel. This blackening can be prevented by
keeping your wick trimmed to 1/8".
* Always extinguish your candle before trimming wick.
* Keep wax pool free of wick trimmings, matches, or other foreign matter that may present a fire hazard.
*
Never allow the flame to come in contact with the side of the
container. Quickly move wick back to center with a metal spoon handle.
* Always burn candle on a stable, protected heat-resistant surface away from flammable materials.
* Container may become hot! Handle with care!
* Store candles in a cool, dry place away from light to prevent fading.
* Do not burn candle for more than 4 hours at a time.
* Never leave a burning candle unattended!
