Items need to be free from dirt regardless of whether they are new or have been used a few times. 

Please keep in mind on items that are completely sewn together that some areas of the item cannot be monogrammed on without sewing the area closed.  Such as pockets. 

Monogrammed Christmas Stockings:

If you are making your Christmas Stockings please keep in mind that Stockings turn out better and the lettering can be larger if the front is not attached to the back. 

If you have stockings that are sewn together it can still be done but please keep in mind that the lettering will be smaller.
