Make a Pillowcase, Make a Difference...

In the year 2011 we are participating in the American Patchwork & Quilting 1 Million Pillowcase Challenge.

In 2 easy steps, turn your love of quilting and sewing into messages of comfort, hope and love - for a child this year. The idea is simple - make and donate pillowcases for local charities in our community. Join Kate's Quilting Block in our continued effort to participate in American Patchwork & Quilting to provide 1 million pillowcases to children who need to know someone cares.

Here's how:

1. Make a case (or several) 2. Bring them to Kate's Quilting Block to make sure that your donation counts. We will be contributing to the online Pillowcase Counter at APQS.

Bundle of Warmth Campaign

We will also be continuing our Annual Bundle of Warmth event in 2012.

Bundle of Warmth is a yearly event where we gather new and gently used quilts of all sizes for local organizations that are in need of blankets for people in the community, that they serve.

We work year round in our workshop making quilts for this cause. Please join us in our efforts to make this year the largest ever by donating new or gently used quilts to our location. We accept donations year round.

Let's make this a warm and enjoyable holiday season for everyone.
